Agisilaos “Agis” Triantafillopoulos was born in Athens, Greece in 1959 to George Triantafillopoulos (Amaliada) and Marianthi Panagiotopoulou (Athens), and has two sisters Demetra and Irene.

He came to the United States in August 1977, joining his father who had previously emigrated and settled there, and worked in the fur manufacturing industry, as well as in an import-export business of Greek products. Currently, he is the owner of “A & T MEDITERRANEAN”, providing Greek products to restaurants in the New Jersey area.

In 1985 he married Demetra, who was born in Athens to Nikolao and Anthoula Niti.

In 1987 Agis and Demetra became the proud parents of a son, George, who proudly served in the Hellenic Army; married Stephanie; and had two daughters of his own Demetra and Chloe-Maria. 

Agis has served multiple terms as President of the Paneliakos Society of New Jersey “Korivos”; and, as President of the Ascension Greek Orthodox Church in Fairview, NJ.

Moreover, he has served multiple terms as head of the Youth Committee for the Panelian Federation of USA & Canada; and currently is serving as the Supreme Treasurer of the Federation.
