Supreme Representative of Virginia
Miscellaneous Information:

Bobby Tsoukalas was born in Pyrgos, Elia – Greece, on June 30, 1949.

Having completed High School for Economics at Pyrgos in 1967, and given the harsh reality of his financial inability to continue studies in Higher Education, Bobby decided to join the merchant marines in order to establish himself financially.

His service as a merchant marine eventually gave Bobby, with the help of Dr. Dimitrios Kotsilimbas of New York, the opportunity to establish himself in the United States, in order to strive for a better tomorrow.

Like many newly arrived Greek immigrants of the period, he obtained employment working in restaurants. It did not take long for Bobby to realize that his childhood passion of becoming an automotive mechanic was his true calling. As a result, Bobby entered into the automotive mechanic field, and remains there to date.

In November 1969, while attending a Dinner-Dance hosted by the Sts. Anargyroi Greek Orthodox Church in Washington Heights, NY, Bobby met his future wife Eleni Pandemou. Bobby and Eleni were married on April 25, 1971, had their first child “Vasili” on February 23, 1973, and their second child “Theodora” on July 18, 1976. Bobby currently is the proud grandfather of two grandchildren “Joseph” 1 year old, and “Danai” 4 years old.

In 1975 Bobby and his family left New York, and established their residence in Bergenfield, New Jersey, where they lived for the next 27 years, until moving to Virginia in 2002, where they remain to date.

Throughout the years, Bobby has been a very active member, holding many Board positions in the Panelian Federation of USA & Canada; the Paneliakos Society of New York and the Paneliakos Society of New Jersey “Korivos”.

Currently, Bobby serves as the Supreme Representative of Virginia, for the Panelian Federation of USA & Canada.
